Plato is our flagship wine. Its deep ruby and purple color is abundant with a bouquet of black fruits, cassis, blackberries and cloves, with the generous contribution of sweet oak spices, hints of rich dark chocolate and particularly fine leather. The aromas are ripe, broad and powerful, and prolonged aeration will enhance the intensity of the fragrances.
The solid tannins and acidity that characterizes the powerful components of Plato – Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz – form the structure of the wine which is coated with the juiciness of the fruit. The finish is extremely long, with flavors of black mulberries, roasted black coffee, some cocoa and cedar cigar box.
This is a fascinating extroverted and hedonistic wine, with a prominent and distinct personality, and a promising future.
